Information we collect

Account information: email address, name or display name, authentication identifiers, and similar profile data you provide when signing up or managing your account.

Organization and business data: information you or your teammates enter into the Service — for example customer/client records, invoice content, agreement drafts and templates, settings, and related files you upload.

Payment-related data: metadata about invoices and payments (amounts, status, and payment-processor identifiers). Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor(s); we do not store full card numbers.

Usage and technical data: logs, device/browser information, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP, used for security, debugging, and reliability.

Communications: content of support requests and transactional email delivery events (for example opens/bounces) from our email provider.

How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the Service; authenticate users; process and reconcile payments through our payment processor(s); send transactional email (invites, password resets, invoice notices) via our email provider; secure the Service; diagnose errors; provide customer support; and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information.

How we share information

Service providers that process data on our behalf, including hosting, database and authentication, payment processing, email delivery, and error monitoring. They may only use data to provide their services to us.

Within your organization: teammates with access to your org can see Customer Content according to roles and permissions you configure.

Customer portal: people you invite to the portal may see invoice and payment information your organization shares with them.

Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the public.

Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer subject to appropriate confidentiality.

Organization tenancy

Business records are scoped by organization. We design the Service so one organization’s Customer Content is not exposed to another organization through normal product use. Platform operators may access data only as needed to operate, secure, or support the Service, consistent with this Policy.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as your account or organization needs the Service, and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. You may request account or data deletion by contacting us; we will delete or anonymize personal data when we no longer need it, subject to lawful retention requirements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Children

The Service is directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age required by local law).

Your choices

You can update account profile details in the product where available, and request access, correction, or deletion by emailing us. Marketing email is limited; transactional messages are required to operate the Service.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
